Celebrating Matariki

Today we were in the kitchen making some Maori fry bread to share with our buddy class.

All we needed to make the fry bread was flour and water. Then we put them into boiling oil

and then we waited for it to finish cooking.

It was delicious!

Samoan Language Week

This week we have been learning about Samoan Language Week. One of my favourite activities was when we went to garden to table, I was in the garden. Hamida and Falete taught us how to cut and scrape a coconut

I had a turn and it was so fun.
